Secondary License with an Endorsement in a Foreign Language, Latin

Grade Level of Certification:

7-12

Degree Requirement:

B.A.

Subject Matter Requirements:

30 credits

Professional Training in Education Required:

Yes

Subject Test:

No designated Latin subject test. Must take Praxis I Pre-Professional Skills Tests (PPST) and the Principles of Learning and Teaching (PLT) Test.

Additional Requirements for Advanced Certification:

1. A master’s degree in Latin.

2. Three (3) years of documented teaching experience.
