Subject Test:

No Latin test, but Praxis I is required.

 

Additional Requirements for Advanced Certification:

1. Meeting of the State approved High, Objective, Uniform State Standard of Evaluation (HOUSSE).

2. HOUSSE – Kansas Content Area Rubric for middle school teachers. The rubric allows elementary K-9 licensed teachers who teach in middle school the opportunity to demonstrate depth of content without taking the content test.
