B.A. minimum

Subject Matter Requirements:

Latin Major

Professional Training in Education Required:

Yes

Subject Test:

Praxis II and SATEP

Additional Requirements for Advanced Certification:

1. Valid National Board Certification by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.

2. Five (5) years within the last eight (8) years of documented satisfactory full-time teaching experience under a Hawaii Standard License or its equivalent in other states.

3. A master’s or doctoral degree.
